New Staff!

I am delighted to welcome two new staff to the Boultham Park team. Cecilia Everingham, our new practice nurse and Dr Geeta Aurangabadkar both joined the practice in January.  

Patient Reference Group Survey

As of today, 22/2/12, we are up to a total of 138 completed surveys. Quite a few (60+) have been by post and I manually added these to our website in order to see the overall picture. The results are pretty encouraging but I remain slightly disappointed by the response rate given that around 220 patients said they would respond if asked. I reckon 180 responses, at 2% of our patient list size, would be good so please encourage other patients to sign up to the PRG and complete the survey. It really only takes a couple of minutes. Many thanks.

The Health Protection Agency (HPA) has this week been alerted by the Spanish public health authorities about a further case of Legionnaires’ Disease in a UK resident who stayed at the Diamante Beach Hotel in Calpe, Costa Blanca, as well as two French cases. This brings the total number of UK residents associated with this cluster to 12, with three deaths.
