Christmas Take our patient survey

Patient Participation Group

Minutes from last week's PPG meeting have now been added to our website on the Patient Group page below.

New Staff!

I am delighted to welcome two new staff to the Boultham Park team. Cecilia Everingham, our new practice nurse and Dr Geeta Aurangabadkar both joined the practice in January.

Patient Reference Group Survey

As of today, 22/2/12, we are up to a total of 138 completed surveys. Quite a few (60+) have been by post and I manually added these to our website in order to see the overall picture. The results are pretty encouraging but I remain slightly disappointed by the response rate given that around 220 patients said they would respond if asked. I reckon 180 responses, at 2% of our patient list size, would be good so please encourage other patients to sign up to the PRG and complete the survey. It really only takes a couple of minutes. Many thanks.

Repeat Prescriptions

pills_thermometerThere are many options available to order your repeat prescriptions:

- Through the Internet 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by registering with the practice, you may view your own medication and order on-line at

https://systmonline.tpp-uk.com

- Tick the appropriate medication on your computer slip, hand it in or send it to the practice

- Telephone our dedicated prescriptions line on 01522 874455 9.30am - 12.30pm Monday to Friday

The local pharmacies provide a free delivery service to those who need it although we understand some require up to 4 days notice - please ask your pharmacist.

Please ensure you allow 48 hours for regular repeated prescriptions to be available for collection.

Please remember that if you require a regular supply of medication it may be cheaper to purchase a pre-payment certificate. Details are available through our receptionists, your pharmacist or Lincolnshire NHS (the address is on your medical card).

Controlled Drug Prescriptions

If you are being prescribed controlled drugs, we have a system in place for the collection of repeat prescriptions. For safety reasons, we will require signed authorisation from you if someone else is collecting the prescription on your behalf and evidence of identity from the person collecting the prescription.
